LIFELONG We make lifestyle clothing that is creative and comfortable because our sport is not easy and we should be able to celebrate our efforts at the end of long days in the saddle.
About the Founder
Don Powell, Panache founder, is a former professional cyclist who rode for Saxon/Selle Italia (currently known as Landboukrediet/Tonisteiner) in Belgium and throughout Europe on the UCI World Cup circuit. Powell started Panache because he felt that the clothing component of racing was not up to par with the technologic leaps in bikes, wheels, and components. …and because, like all of us, there was no cycling apparel company that offered off-the-bike, lifestyle clothing worthy of our sport.

The word panache means ”in a grand manner; with verve; style; flair”. Panache is a word often used by cycling aficionado and cycling-specific journalists to describe the riding style of some of cycling’s Greats, like Fausto Coppi, Jacque Anquetil, and Eddy Merckx.
